SUBJECT: Draft Part-187 (Fees) Stakeholder Consultation Meeting – AOPA Namibia’s Proposed Way Forward
The above captioned bears reference.
We acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 19 May 2023 in reference to the subject matter.
We appreciate your response and for outlining what was agreed in principle. Your proposal with regards to the new fees has been noted, however, we would like to inform you that we do not agree with the Part 187 (fees) CARTAP Sub-Committee as suggested as this will delay the process. The new proposed fees are fair and reasonable and have been extensively benchmarked with other Civil Aviation Authority in Africa.
The final part 187 (fees and charges) will be shared with you during the course of the week for your information which has been revised and taking into consideration all industry comments.
The NCAA values its stakeholder in promoting and developing the aviation sector. We look forward to continuous engagement in strengthening our relationship.
