Announcement from The Hangar at Lake Oanob Airfield

Dear Aviators and Friends of Namibian Aviation,
We are proud to announce this year’s Lake Oanob Fun Fly-In and Oktoberfest at the Hangar will be held from October 7th to 9th, 2022 at the Lake Oanob Airstrip.

Preparations for 2022 are already in full swing!
There will be some new additions, even more activities and as usual, a celebration of note.

Lake Oanob Airfield Credentials
The “credentials” of the Lake Oanob Airfield are as follows:
- CO-ORD: 23 18 32 S, 17 02 19 E
- RWY: 14/32
- LENGTH: TBA
- ELEV: 4872ft /1485 m
- FREQ: 124.8 Mhz (will get a dedicated frequency for the event)
- NOTE: Left-hand circuits only unless otherwise directed by AFIS
