Below you will find a button to download the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) regarding airspace utilization for the 2023-2024 Namibian Glider Season: 01 November 2023 - 31 January 2024.
The MOU is valid starting on 01 November 2023.
The main changes compared to previous glider season years are:
- All gliders will use squawk 7677 when a transponder is required.
- For flights above FL145, the transponder squawk 7677 is mandatory (also outside the TMZs). It is recommended gliders monitor FYWH RADAR FREQ 124.7MHZ.
